Good Hair opens today in Toronto!

I know many of us have been patiently waiting for Chris Rock’s docu-comedy Good Hair to open in Toronto. Well, it opens today on three screens in the city. (Three screens? Chupse! Hopefully, they’ll extend it when they see the turnout.)

Sorry ladies from other parts of Canada — I don’t have any information for you. If you are reading and are in another part of the country, let us know if the movie is playing and where.

Here’s where you can see it:

  • Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond St., 416-368-5600
  • Canada Square, 2200 Yonge St., 416-646-0444
  • Kennedy Commons 20, 33 William Kitchen Rd., 416-335-5323

Find details here.

The theatres are central — with Kennedy Commons a little further east.  I thought it would be at least at one theatre in Brampton or Mississauga! What about Scarborough Town Centre or Morningside? I was hoping to have a pattie or samosa with my movie. You know how we do in the east end!

I guess I’ll have to stick with plain ol’ popcorn.

Anyway, I’m gonna try to check it out this weekend and I’ll let you know what I thought of it.

Ed note: FYI, Montrealers — it’s playing at the AMC Forum 22! Enjoy!
