Hi all,
It’s been a dog’s age since I posted. Not that I haven’t cared — but because I’ve been sick.
I’m pregnant, y’all!
Morning sickness – or all-day sickness – has been kicking my butt for the last eight weeks, making the very thought of doing my hair or journalling about doing my hair something I just couldn’t be bothered with. My scalp was lucky if I gave it a half-hearted wash and threw in some twists. The year of twists came at the right time!
The funny thing is my last post from August 8 was probably the last day that I felt somewhat human. I’ve been feeling like trash regularly. So, between work and real life, my poor little blog has suffered.
Sigh. It’s been that way this year, hasn’t it?
But I’m finally feeling better…well, for the most part š
So, I’ll be back online as I feel better with all the updates that I couldn’t share with you over the summer. I’m also tired a lot so I may have to sacrifice blogging for sleeping or sprawling in front of a TV screen if I can’t haul my backside upstairs.
Thanks to everyone who kept checking in and leaving comments or sending me messages. I was happy to read that you guys still care.
