Yes, a year.
A year since I last posted anything.
But what a year it’s been! I haven’t been doing anything with my hair. Since having my daughter – who is now a nine-month-old bundle of energy – I haven’t really had the time to do much besides some two-strand twists and buns. Now that she’s getting older and gives me a little more time, I’m hoping to blog again in 2013.
Here’s a picture of us and my hair (unfortunately, Boo Boo is still pretty much bald :() Oh, and my hair is just blown out straight – no chemicals.
Merry Christmas and see you in 2013!
She is so adorable! I love happy babies…..ok, I just love babies! Congrats!
Thanks!
i have been using mayonaise and egg treat ment since august 2012 and i have lupus; my hair had come out a lot and has since grown alot i use olive oil as a moistureizer every day for my natural hair just think this is al our grandparents had back n the day when all blacks had long black natural hair. our hair started to shed when we started to use chemicals think about it.
Just found your blog! Your daughter is so cute! did you experience postpartum shedding? I was 3 months PP and was pretty much balding around my edges! anyways, glad to have found another natural in the GTA!
Hey Pinky! Thanks for the compliment. She is a cutie, but a handful and a half. I’m still trying to finish putting in my kinky twists because Madame doesn’t give me a break!
I did have shedding – especially around my hairline – when she was five months or so. My full and fluffy ‘fro is certainly not as full. Thank God I have a lot of hair to play around with.
Thanks for stopping by!
