On Sunday, I was bored. The Hubby was watching football and basketball and I was idle — so I made a video. I’ve realized that I’m long-winded, but my video is good… at least that’s what I think. If you want, you can watch all nine minutes and 40 seconds of me talking about what I’m going to do with my braids for the next two months.
Enjoy! (Not the best screen grab, but you work with what YouTube gives you.)
Hair is looking Nice! I love the cut of the twists.
Thanks!
Your hair looks nice, if my hair sides weren’t so tortured right now, I would ask for your stylist number. I’ve lost some good readings on the block, trying to get caught up.
Whenever you’re ready for her number, I’ll pass it on. Baby the sides — they’ll get stronger!
Yea, after a couple treatments it always grows back, I can already see it coming in. Maybe by January it will be stronger and I can get the twist in. I’ll probably need it by then if I’m to continue this transition period. I have a lot new growth with the perm which is something I’m not used to…especially when I work out my hair gets reall puffy.
I’m not saying that poofy is bad, its just that dealing with straight and poofy, it’s a bit tempting to revert back to my creamy crack that’s waiting for me and has been a loyal companion all these years.
Dealing with two textures is hard — that’s why I spent most of last summer in braids. I didn’t want to deal with the both and I’d be tempted to relax again. I’ve seen some people online do styles like twist-outs and braid-outs to hide the different textures. It may be something to try… Check this thread: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=376853
