Well, work and life got the best of me these few days (work has been an absolute beast! I’m fearing taking a vacation and coming back to loads of work) and I wasn’t able to post the other article that I had in mind to do. And, of course, I thought I may be able to squeeze something out tonight, but things got messy. I did a favour for a friend, hung a painting that needed hanging for a good six months and, when I sat down at the computer to print out our boarding passes, my printer conveniently runs out of magenta ink.

I tried to print in grayscale… no go.

For some reason which is beyond me, Canon printers seize up and act like damn fools when they don’t have coloured ink. Even when you aren’t interested in posting in colour. Although, the magenta cartridge had enough ink to splatter over my hand when I was tapping it. It’s a good thing for Canon that it didn’t get all over my beige carpet or light grey couch. Chupse.

At least I knew where to find our passports. Alas, such is life.

For the next few days, I will be incognegro. I will be roaming the streets of New York with a cup of Dean & DeLuca coffee, perusing hair products, wigs, clothes and whatever other cool, fun things I can find or get myself into. I’ll update you with my bounty when I’m back online next week.

Maybe I’ll buy a new printer on Black Friday. One that understands that grayscale does not need magenta ink. Hmmph.
