Hey all,
Hope you’ve all been enjoying the summer weather. I have… that’s probably the reason I haven’t been posting. Don’t be mad — summer in Canada is fleeting! We have to enjoy the few weeks that we get before we’re thrown back into snow, ice and minus temperatures!
A quick update — I haven’t been doing that much since I’ve decided to do a year of twists. I had one little setback — more a kink. My hair isn’t going with my schedule. I had to do some photos for work and my twists that were two weeks old were looking a bit rusty. I was trying to hold on to them for another week, but I couldn’t — not for professional shots. They would have been fine had they been fresh. So, I did a big twist out. My hair looked glorious! If I get my hands on the shots, I’ll share them.
So on Thursday, I was forced to wash and twist my hair again. I have a wedding coming up next week and a trip. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to style the twists for the wedding, but I think for the trip, I’ll be twisting out my hair at some point. Why won’t my schedule let my hair be great?
I’m going to Indianapolis to visit some family and while I’m there, I have some plans to buy a couple of hair products. Just a couple 🙂
What’s on my list?
- Shea Moisture Organic African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo
- Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque
That’s it! I’ve calmed down since my New York trip a couple of years ago, right?
I owe you guys some product reviews — especially the Essential Wholesale products that I bought in November 2010. Since the weather’s warmed up and I’m twisting my hair more frequently, I’ve been using the Styling Hair Jelly… which I like… a lot. Anyhow, look for those reviews… although outside is beckoning me 😉
Have a happy Saturday!
I need to twist my hair! This is my reminder to do so for the rest of the summer 🙂
Would love to see the shots!
